Timothy J. Konola

Paralegal

Overview

Tim supports Mirick’s Litigation Department and manages the firm’s system for document coding. He shepherds client documents through the continuum of discovery, from initial review to document production to use at depositions and trial. Tim has an eye for detail and enjoys the hunt for the proverbial “needle in the haystack.”

Prior to joining Mirick, Tim worked as a research assistant to principal investigators studying ways to improve health outcomes and patient education. He also served as an English Teaching Assistant (ETA) for one year at two high schools in Upper Austria.

Why did you become a paralegal?

I became a paralegal to learn more about the practice of law and to apply some of the skills I gleaned from my liberal arts education, which emphasized critical thinking and precise writing.

What is your client service approach?

When I interface with clients, I put on my listening cap and take attentive notes. I want them to know that their position has been heard.
