Jemmie’s practice includes labor and employment law, along with general litigation.
She began her career at Mirick as a Summer Associate in 2023. Prior to joining the Firm, Jemmie was a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Patti B. Saris and Honorable Margaret R. Guzman for the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She also served as a congressional intern for Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren and for the Fair Labor Division at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office in Boston.
Jemmie has previous prosecutorial experience as a student attorney for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office where she represented the Commonwealth at the Roxbury District Court. While in law school, Jemmie served as an editor for the Suffolk Transnational Law Review and sat on its Board as Competitions Editor during her second year. Additionally, Jemmie received a jurisprudence award in Commercial Law Sales during her third year and earned first place in the Suffolk Transnational Law Review Moot Court Competition.
