Mirick announces that Cornelius ‘Con’ Chapman has joined the Firm as of counsel in the Business Group, based in the Boston office.
“I was opposite Mirick on my first transaction out of law school, and again recently on a large project in South Boston,” Chapman said. “I was impressed with them from the start and hope I can add value for their clients.”
Con has extensive experience in commercial lending; banking and consumer finance regulation; loan “workouts” and bankruptcies; tax-exempt bonds; commercial contract drafting and negotiation; and non-profit governance.
As a member of the Business Law Team at Mirick, Con will represent borrowers and lenders in all types of debt financings, both asset-based and cash flow loans. His non-profit clients include community health centers, schools, and public-access television stations. His for-profit clients operate in a variety of industry sectors, including seafood, restaurants, and entertainment.

Con was most recently a partner at Burns & Levinson, LLP in Boston.
