With over 35 years of law firm experience, Kim supports attorneys in the Creditors’ Rights, Bankruptcy and Reorganization Group and the Commercial Litigation Group with all aspects of their practices. Kim is also one of two paralegals that assists the Groups’ Chapter 7 trustee with the administration of that practice.
Kim is responsible for the tracking of case deadlines and other significant case events and benchmarks, preparation and filing of various pleadings and documents, including proofs of claim and appearances in bankruptcy cases nationwide, fee applications, complaints and various motions. Kim also assists with asset, lien and corporate searches and is the primary liaison with the Court Clerk’s offices, creditors and works with clients on pleadings and claim details.
Prior to joining Mirick, Kim worked as a real estate paralegal at local law firms, a title insurance company and an escrow closing office.
