Elizabeth focuses her practice on advising and advocating for healthcare clinicians, care delivery systems, and digital health companies with knowledge and understanding of their clinical and business challenges. Elizabeth brings her strategic expertise to healthcare and other business clients, drafting and negotiating a wide range of corporate formation, restructuring, and dissolution documents, and commercial agreements. Elizabeth’s health law practice includes assisting with structuring business arrangements, and drafting contracts, policies, and procedures to meet federal and state statutory and regulatory requirements, and advising clients on complying with HIPAA, Part 2, data privacy, and fraud and abuse regulations. Elizabeth helps her corporate clients mitigate risk by drawing upon her decades of litigation experience.
Healthcare providers, practices and systems turn to Elizabeth for representation in professional licensure board matters, and for advice on medical staff issues, including credentialing, peer review, and corrective action matters and hearings.
Elizabeth serves in leadership roles with the American Bar Association Health Law Section, which provides opportunities to interact and engage with leading healthcare attorneys across the country on myriad issues. Elizabeth serves as chair of the ABA Health Law Section’s Interest Group Executive Leadership Team, vice chair of Leadership Meeting Planning, and vice chair of the Healthcare Delivery and Innovation Conference. Elizabeth also serves on the ABA Health Law Section governing body, its Council, and is actively involved in several other committees and endeavors with the ABA Health Law Section.
