Nominated by his colleagues and peers, David Fine, chair of Mirick’s Construction Law Team, is among the top construction lawyers across the Commonwealth who have been selected by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly for inclusion in the 2025 “Go To Construction Lawyers” list. The list recognizes attorneys well-versed in case law, statutes and regulations; experienced, with a record of success in cases and/or transactions; and a lawyer to whom other lawyers make referrals because of his or her expertise and accomplishments.
Dave’s client base consists of project owners, general contractors, subcontractors, supplier, architects and various other vendors and consultants who work in the construction industry. He has significant experience representing clients in an array of projects both public and private, commercial, residential, and mixed-use. Clients value his insight and advice navigating contract and project issues from the vantage point of his dual role as both a transactional construction attorney as well as being an experienced business and construction litigator.
Dave is the chair of the American Bar Association’s Forum on Construction Law; a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors; past president of the Home Builders and Remodelers Association; steering committee member of the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Development and Construction Law Committee; and is Vice President of the Hopkinton Youth Soccer Board.
