Betsy is well respected among her colleagues and peers. She is an accomplished human resources professional with over 30 years of experience.
Ever the consummate learner, Betsy consistently enrolls in educational and informational programs to stay in the forefront of human resources trends and compliance changes.
As Mirick’s Chief Human Resources Officer, Betsy has overall responsibility for all of the firm’s human resources functions including talent acquisition, performance management, organizational development, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Human Resource Certification Institute and as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) by the Society for Human Resource Management. Additional certifications include a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from University of South Florida Corporate Training and Professional Education program, a Mental Health Ally certificate through Psych Hub, and an Adult Mental Health First Aid USA certificate through the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. Betsy is past president of the Human Resources Management Association of Central Massachusetts (HRMA), an organization of over 200 human resources practitioners and consultants and she has taught human resources in Assumption University’s Continuing Education Division.
